Mozilla has released version 1.5.0.5 of Firefox, fixing several security issues and bugs as outlined in the release notes. The one for Win32 can be downloaded from the official FTP, and those for other languages and OS - from here. Installation file is as big as 5 megabytes. The main reasons for this update is some security issue, which could be used to misuse user’s computer. Don’t expect any important change, they will come probably not until version 2.0. There’s a new trojan virus FormSpy for Firefox though, which is staying installed as plugin called NumberedLinks 0.9, logging all your form inputs and then sending them away to some third party server. This may become extremely danger in case of logging some credit card or bank account details, so beware before you install any plugin…
