The neverending fight against the dangerous website has now another reason to stop. After the time of dialers, crazy redirects, different malware and IE or another browser exploits, Google now ads warning if you are going to visit a website dangerous in some way. The warning will pop up if users click on a link to a page known to host spyware or other malicious programs. The initiative comes out of a larger project cataloguing programs that plague people with unwanted ads, spy on web habits or steal personal data. Google is one of several companies trying to act as an “in-flight adviser” to ensure people stay safe online. We are not talking about few websites at the moment, but about something like 5% of all internet content. the dangerous keywords include such terms as WinMX, Limewire, Bearshare, Free screensavers, Free ringtones and so on. The thing is if this warning may stop a Google’s user to visit the page, because when something appears at the top of the results, it will be probably the exact page for which is this user searching…
